Fibreglass swimming pools are also known for their energy efficiency. The smooth and non-porous surface of fibreglass pools reduces water friction, which means the pool pump has to work less to circulate the water. As a result, fibreglass pools use less energy and are more cost effective to run compared to other pool types. Additionally, fibreglass pools are excellent at retaining heat, which can significantly reduce heating costs during the cooler months.
Lastly, fibreglass pools offer a quicker installation process compared to other pool types. Unlike concrete pools, which can take several months to install, fibreglass pools can be installed in a matter of weeks. The pool shell is pre-fabricated off-site and then transported to the homeowner’s property, where it is installed into the excavated area. This streamlined process not only saves time but also reduces disruption to the homeowner’s backyard and surrounding areas.
In summary, fibreglass swimming pools offer numerous benefits, including durability, low maintenance, design flexibility, energy efficiency, and a quicker installation process. The Preston Series, with its slimline design and versatile features, is an excellent example of the quality and style that can be achieved with a fibreglass pool.
